T E G Design & Construction was founded by Tony Flores in 2018. Today, with more than 35 years of construction experience, Tony has the knowledge and skills to successfully take on any project.
At the age of 14, Tony designed and obtained his first building permit at the City of Los Angeles, a 2-story one-bedroom apartment. Having attended high school at Don Bosco Technical Institute, he learned Drafting and Design, Construction Methods and Materials, and hands-on construction trades to name a few.
Tony received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Engineering Technology with emphasis on Construction Management. He then went on to work for Kajima Construction Services as a project engineer, senior project engineer and project manager. Some notable projects were Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, reverse osmosis plant for the Four Seasons resort in Hawaii, web hosting facility in San Jose (the largest on the West Coast), and Tenant Improvement spaces in Downtown LA, Class A high-rise buildings.
After leaving Kajima, Tony started his own design business. Having the opportunity to design over a hundred projects ranging from small remodels to a new restaurant. In the process, he has worked successfully with owners, contractors, engineers, and government agencies. In 2018, T E G Design and Construction, Inc was formed.
